Reduced Finishing Costs

In the majority of applications, there is no need for post-coat grinding finishing which is normally required after spray coatings.

Hardide replicates the original component surface and the 'as coated' surface finish provides a nodular but smooth surface texture.

Should a very high degree of surface finish be required, Hardide can be polished to a super or mirror finish without the need for grinding. Once the coating is applied, it has very strong adhesion bonds but when necessary can be stripped and replaced at the end of its life. This reduces finishing costs and turnaround time for customers.
