Health & Safety
The company has a fully audited Health & Safety system designed to identify and minimise occupational risks, and which promotes safe working practice at all times. This policy is fully documented and the safety history of the company is exemplary.

Environment
Hardide employs a dedicated Environmental Officer to manage its environmental activities. We have established an Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure that our impact on the environment is kept to a minimum. We recognise the importance of interaction between our business and the environment, and see environmental awareness as a corporate characteristic.

The company achieved ISO 14001, the internationally recognised environmental standard, in September 2007. Furthermore, as part of our EMS, we are committing ourselves to reducing our carbon emissions, non-renewable resource usage and water consumption. We regularly monitor water and air emissions to ensure compliance with IPPC regulations and the Water Industry Act 1991.

We are also committed to an environmental supply chain and are currently reassessing our suppliers to ensure that they adhere to our environmental policy.
