The Hardide Service
Customers benefiting from our unique tungsten-based coating include some of the world’s premier oil and gas operators and service companies, high-end valve and pump manufacturers, and world leading aerospace companies.

The total Hardide coating process including engineering design, pre- and post-treatment, CVD coating, finishing, inspection and quality control is carried out in-house by Hardide’s team of skilled engineers, metallurgists, chemists and technicians. We deliver to any location worldwide.

Safety, quality and care of the environment are integral to our business and processes; we are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited.

Turnaround Time
Our standard turnaround time is 28 days from receipt of parts. Repeat business and standard or emergency orders can be handled in as little as seven days by negotiation. New applications take between four and six weeks to enable us to optimise the coating. Thereafter a shorter turnaround time will be agreed.

Technical support
Professional engineers, metallurgists and chemists will offer technical expertise and support to ensure that the component, surface and substrate work together for optimal performance.

Logistics
We have a dedicated logistics team which is responsible for production planning and control. The team implements a tracking system to ensure that all parts are logged, processed, inspected and returned to an agreed delivery date.

Coated goods are returned using globally recognised shipping companies. We manage all customs paperwork and send e-notification and a tracking number so that the progress of orders can be monitored.

Quality
Quality assurance and control are integral to all our operations. Components are processed and certified to strict quality assurance standards. Our systems offer full traceability of individual parts using CMM measurement of component dimensions including validation of coating thickness and surface finish. Our equipment, procedures and batch processing are strictly monitored to ensure coating uniformity and consistent quality. In addition to ISO 9001, we hold a number of customer supplier approvals including BAE Systems.
