Hardide will be the most innovative global supplier of Tungsten Carbide coatings. Through its people Hardide will be a customer orientated and environmentally responsible enterprise, committed to excellence and the provision of value in its chosen fields of operation.

Protection of the environment is an important element of our business strategy. Hardide recognises that our activities have impacts on the environment and is committed to continually improving environmental performance in our operations by adopting the highest possible standards of practice. We will ensure that all applicable environmental regulations, legislation and other requirements are met and prevent pollution.

Accordingly, we have developed a comprehensive Environmental Management System. This system is incorporated into company operations to ensure that we:

  • Manage and minimise environmental risks identified in our processing operations.
  • Utilise the best environmental practices, products and technologies where feasible.
  • Make efficient use of natural resources by minimising waste, recycling where possible, and conserving energy and water, whilst utilising sustainable goods and services where possible.
  • Assess the environmental performance of key suppliers, and co-operate with suppliers, customers and business partners to achieve higher environmental standards.
  • Make sure all employees are made aware of the environmental impacts of our business and their responsibility in minimising those impacts and are kept up to date with environmental issues.

As part of our commitment to continual improvement, Hardide will review the policy annually and set clear objectives and targets in order to achieve good environmental performance.
